Project Overview
Empowering a Multi-Disciplinary Freelance Workforce For this project, I led the UX/UI design for a comprehensive mobile application created for a multi-service care and staffing agency. The company provides a highly diverse range of specialized services, including institutional healthcare, private nursing, post-natal care, household cleaning, antimicrobial coating, and logistics staffing. The primary objective was to build a digital platform that allows independent professionals to seamlessly onboard as freelancers, browse and accept available jobs, and submit post-job reports. This app was designed to automate dispatching, empower the freelance workforce, and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
The Problem
With services ranging from specialized healthcare to heavy logistics, the company struggled to manually match the right jobs with the appropriately skilled freelancers. The existing dispatch process was slow, and communication was fragmented. Freelancers lacked a centralized hub to find work on their own terms, while administrators faced significant bottlenecks in verifying job completion, tracking quality assurance, and processing accurate payouts across so many different service categories.
The Solution
I designed a comprehensive, user-centric mobile app that serves as a self-service hub for the freelance workforce. The interface features a robust, skill-based filtering system to match users only with jobs they are qualified for, a frictionless one-tap acceptance flow, and a straightforward post-job reporting tool to log hours and service details efficiently.
