Project Overview

Enhancing Workforce Efficiency & Digital Reporting For this project, I led the UX/UI design phase for an internal mobile application built specifically for a professional cleaning company. The objective was to replace manual, paper-based tracking with a streamlined digital tool. By empowering cleaning staff to easily log their start times and record precise service details from their phones, the app was designed to improve operational efficiency, ensure accurate payroll, and standardize quality assurance across all job sites.

The Problem

Prior to this app, the cleaning company struggled with operational inefficiencies caused by paper timesheets and disjointed communication. Staff on the ground had no standardized, real-time method to record the exact start and end times of their shifts or log the specific tasks completed at each location. This manual process led to time tracking discrepancies, lost service details, and a heavy administrative burden for the back office.

The Solution

I designed an intuitive, distraction-free mobile app interface tailored for on-the-go service staff. The UI was crafted to require minimal taps and reduce cognitive load, allowing cleaners to seamlessly clock in, log their tasks, and submit service details without slowing down their physical work.
